Will Alternative Cancer Remedies Work? HomeThis is a featured page

Shrink Prostate

I recently wrote a blog post titled medical care, Obama, And The Natural Health And Wellness Solution discussing how given the medical care debate and the astronomical medicare cost that have led to that debate, that alternative practitioners as well as conventional doctors that use alternative approaches should be given more liberty to practice.

I pointed out the fact that I don't believe the current suggested medical care plan will help, in part, because it does nothing about the most imperative issue, and that's the cost of the currently recognized treatments employed for our most deadly and debilitating sicknesses ; additionally, it may actually, in time, prohibit more medical liberties.

On the other hand I also pointed out that people who advocate the laissez faire market approach to medical care in large part will help frame laws or sit idly by while laws are framed that may prohibit their choice to pick an alternative expert if they select to do so.

This would permit more competition into the market and help drive cost down. However as i said in the article cited above there are those that are actually not especially interested in free market solutions, but rather slick paths to monopolize the market which they have recently done.

That leads me to the important part of this post...

Maximum Prostate Supplement

According to the North County Times Prosecutors latterly brought legal charges against a California local physician charged with promising terminally ill cancer patients that they could be cured with an herbal treatment. According to reports, Dr Christine Daniel, using her influence as an ordained Pentecostal minister tapped into the vessel of faith to lure folk from across the land to try her regimen.

The reports indicate that she even appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network in 2002 advocating her cancer cure and its 60 % success rate, according to federal investigators. Authorities arrested Daniel, fifty five, at her San Fernando Valley home in October and charged her with 2 counts each of wire and mail crime. If found guilty, she's facing up to eighty years in prison.

In all, Fed prosecutors announced Daniel siphoned about $1.1 million from 50 five families between 2001 and 2004. At least 6 patients varying in age from 4 to sixty-nine died inside 7 months after seeing Daniel is what's being claimed. 'This is an example of a doctor who is preying on the most exposed folks in our society,' voiced aid U.S. Solicitor, Joseph Johns. He also announced [*CO]'These patients were told they were being cured, but they were being eaten alive by cancer.'.

A phone message left for Daniel's lawyer, Manuel Miller, wasn't returned right away. Prosecutors claimed Daniel concocted a cure known, among other names, as'C-Extract' that she disclosed would help treat cancer and other anomalies like multiple sclerosis, hepatitis, and Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.

Some of her patients were drawn to her from her appearance on TBN's'Praise the Lord.' according to a North County Times article. The article claims that Daniel told spectators she picked up herbs from around the globe, and, when they were mixed with prayer, there had been a superb chance their cancer could be cured.

How Many die of Chemo?
Though not all is known concerning the events that besieged the patients of Dr. Daniel ( so I am neither for or against her specific treatment/s ) one has to ask if in fact her patients were terminally unwell what was the possibility that they would have lived with traditional treatments and if those treatments were shown to hasten their death would the suppliers also have been arrested?

For example the BBC news carried a story in Nov of 2008 of a study that discovered in'a review of six hundred cancer patients who died within 30 days of treatment found that in more than a quarter of cases it essentially hastened or caused death.

The report by the countrywide private Enquiry into Patient result and Death said doctors should think about reducing doses or not using chemical treatment at all... The group of patients the independent group was having a look at represents 2% of the eighty thousand folks who receive chemo each year.'

The study'found that in 27% of cases it hastened or caused death - the dangerous nature of the treatment can end up in a variety of Problems, the most major of which is an infection called neutropenic sepsis.'

Now that study looked at just a comparatively tiny quantity of individuals that actually receive chemo so one might imagine just how many people are expiring from the medication and yet a family physician that attempts to use an alternative approach is arrested and charged.
